The California Instruments EC1000S 1 kVA AC and DC power supply is a comprehensive power source and test system that includes measurement and harmonic analysis of output current.
The power supply allows programming of outputs including instantaneous interruptions, voltage sweep and voltage variation patterns. Output modes include AC, DC, AC + DC, and synch outputs. Maximum output voltage is 270 VAC and frequency can be set between 1 and 550 Hz with phase variable between 0 and 359.9°.
Available output voltage waveforms include sine wave, square wave and arbitrary wave form (up to 16 types can be saved). The load power factor can vary between 0 and 1.0 and output current crest factors can vary up to 50:1. Harmonic current can be analysed to the 40th order.
