The BFM136 branch feeder monitor multifunction power meter series has metering capabilities for up to 36 current circuits within one device.

Retrofit capabilities using split core current transformers make the meter suitable for existing commercial buildings, data centres, shopping complexes and hospitals for providing cost allocation for sub-metering needs. The series provides a cost-effective solution per metering point for energy management applications including NABERS-related energy-efficiency solutions.

Monitoring of lighting and power circuits can be achieved with reduced space compared to discrete metering, reduced electrical wiring, reduced communication wiring with the RS845 port or the ethernet communications providing an efficient broad band for the transferring of data.

Energy allocation along with profiling of demand, power factor, voltage, current, frequency and other electrical parameters can be sent to SCADA, BMS, EMS and PLC systems via RS485 or optional ethernet communications supporting Modbus protocols.
