Universal voltage sensors

The Banner Engineering World-Beam QS18 universal voltage sensors are designed to replace sensors in factories using either AC or DC power in applications such as materials handling and conveyor control.

The 3-wire photoelectric sensors feature an IP67-rated housing with encapsulated electronics to resist harsh environments and are available with 18 mm threaded barrel or base mounting, with side-mount and retrofit bracket options also available. Rated to PW12 (1200 psi), the sensors are also suited to washdown environments.

The sensors provide 20-140 or 20-270 V AC or DC operation with a choice of sourcing or sinking outputs for longer sensor life and faster switching and response times than mechanical relays. They can be ordered as light- or dark-activated, while long-range diffuse models are available for sensing up to 1 m.
