Southern Cross Cable appoints new CEO
Southern Cross Cable Network has appointed Anthony Briscoe as the new president and CEO of the Southern Cross Cable Network. Briscoe replaces Fiona Beck, who is stepping down to take up the role of an independent director.
“Southern Cross, which operates the 28,500 km undersea cable linking New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific with the United States, is looking forward to building on its past success and continuing to focus on future growth,” said company chair Nick Clarke.
Briscoe has previously served as Telecom NZ’s director and chairman on the board of Southern Cross.
