Clipsal 31VSSR sunset switches
The 31VSSR switches are part of Clipsal's 'Livingreen' product range designed to help electrical contractors lower greenhouse gas emissions through energy efficiency and assisting in obtaining a superior Australian Building Greenhouse Rating and more Green Star points.
The switches use a built-in light sensor to turn on once natural light levels drop below the designated level, switching on a light or groups of lights as required in the desired application.
Some versions of the sunset switches are available with built-in timers where lights are switched on for specified periods of time after turning on after sunset, which enables even greater energy efficiency. For example, miss turning the lights off by just 1 h every morning and evening and 109 kWh of energy is wasted every year.
