The Firmware V1.1 is a free software package to upgrade the Fluke 287 and 289 True-RMS logging multimeters with improved reporting functionalities.
Key features introduced include ‘zoom on trend’ that enables viewing and analysing TrendCapture data at 5-times magnification; rotary switch memory when switching positions between AC or DC A/mA and uA; improved TrendView algorithms that plot the minimum, maximum and sample point for each sample interval record and event record; adjustable recording; and auto-hold thresholds enabling users to specify a percentage change in the readings that will begin a new event.
With the updated software installed, the multimeters can store up to 15,000 readings for unattended monitoring of signals over time. Users can save multiple logging sessions before a PC download is necessary and review logged readings in graphical format directly on the meter.
