The CS New Basic aluminium outdoor enclosure is optimised for telecommunications and industrial applications, meeting the demands of most telematics applications, including power, environmental engineering, telecommunications and water utilities.
The single-walled IP55-rated enclosure offers a higher level of EMC protection than plastic enclosures.
The aluminium base makes the enclosure suitable for applications with minimal installed heat loss or passive interior installation. A range of system accessories allows the enclosure to be configured to individual industrial and telecommunications applications.
The enclosure features a removable rain canopy, made from a single sheet of edged steel plate with ventilation louvres on all sides, eyebolts to allow the completely assembled unit to be lifted by crane, 2-point locking via swing lever handle and lock cylinder to prevent unauthorised access, simple cable entry and an optional concrete plinth for cable entry and securing the stability of the enclosure.
The enclosure is available in a 600 or 800 mm wide single-door version or 1200 mm wide double-door version, each available in heights of 800 or 1200 mm and depths of 400 or 500 mm.
