Designed and manufactured by PPC, the Ohmtec range is an advanced system of arc flash protective apparel developed in cooperation with the Australian electrical industry.

In an often unforgiving environment, electrical industry professionals demand comfort when on the job. Yet too often the result is a compromise to safety, with inadequate clothing leaving workers exposed to arc flash injury.

Ohmtec, which has been engineered for comfort, functionality and performance, is more than a range of arc flash protective apparel based on overseas standards. It is a layering system comprising shirt, trouser, coverall and switch coat, developed specifically for the industry and designed to provide the right level of protection for any risk category.

The performance of the apparel is supported by rigorous testing to ensure superior protection for its wearer, meeting and in some cases exceeding the highest international arc flash safety standards. More importantly, testing has been applied to each garment combination, rather than simply the isolated layer of textile.
