True-rms digital multimeters

Fluke's family of true-rms digital multimeters is designed to meet the needs of specific trade applications.

The 117 multimeter is designed for electricians for use in commercial applications such as buildings, hospitals and schools. Features include 'VoltAlert' non-contact voltage detection to quickly sense the presence of AC voltage; visual indicators to determine proper grounding; automatic volts detection, determining AC/DC voltage; and low impedance (LoZ) input function to help prevent false readings from ghost voltages.

The 116 multimeter is designed for heating, ventilation and air conditioning technicians, with a built-in thermometer and microamps measurement capability to troubleshoot problems with HVAC equipment and flame sensors. Features include LoZ input function; measurement of superheat and sub-cooling; troubleshooting defrost control on a heat pump; and temperature surveys.

The 115 multimeter is designed for field service technicians, with features including resistance, continuity, frequency, capacitance and diode testing; and LoZ input function.

The 114 multimeter is designed for quick electrical troubleshooting, providing 'go/no go' information. Features include automatic volts detection, determining AC/DC voltage; resistance and continuity testing; and LoZ input function.

All four models are CAT III 600 V safety rated, and feature large white LED backlit displays and a compact design for one-handed operation.
