Allied Telesis promotes Scott Penno to APAC marketing director
Allied Telesis, a global provider of secure IP/ethernet switching solutions, has promoted Scott Penno to APAC Marketing Director.
Based in Melbourne, Penno will be responsible for managing brand awareness, supporting partner and alliance marketing and working closely with sales teams across the Asia-Pacific region to deliver continued growth across the region
Penno originally joined Allied Telesis in 2003 and was appointed Australian Country Manager in 2007, during which time he has delivered consistent revenue growth and managed successful deployments in high-profile public and private organisations across the education, health, hospitality, government and supply chain markets. In addition, Penno has been instrumental in establishing the company’s local sales support structure and channel partner program.
Prior to joining Allied Telesis, Penno worked with a number of systems integrators, including GPM Internet, KNX (Asia Pacific) and Gennex Consulting with a specific focus on communications and security-related technologies. He has a BSc degree in engineering from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and an MBA in technology management from Chifley Business School.
