The NECA Queensland Excellence Awards acknowledge the state’s best electrical industry projects, in addition to recognising outstanding achievement in new members via the Apprentice Awards. Award winners will also have the opportunity to be judged in the National Excellence Awards.

This year's event is being held Friday, 9 September at the Brisbane City Hall. The luncheon event will be hosted by Sharyn Ghidella, with a keynote speech from former rugby league player and asbestos disease advocate Trevor Gillmeister. Pre-luncheon drinks will be served from 12 noon, with the main event running from 12.30–3 pm.
