New Vice President and Managing Director ANZ for Eaton
Eaton has appointed a new Vice President and Managing Director - Australia/New Zealand for its electrical business. Anoop Nanda will be responsible for leading the business through its next phase of growth and propelling its sales and marketing presence.
“This is an exciting time to lead the Eaton electrical business in Australia and New Zealand and to partner with the industry to meet the critical power-management challenges of both today and the future,” Nanda said.
“In an era where innovation is the key to survival and growth, we have an industry-leading portfolio of power quality solutions, particularly for data centre and industrial applications, which are ideally suited for the Australian and New Zealand market.”
Nanda has worked at Eaton for eight years in several senior management positions. Most recently, he was Managing Director for Eaton’s Electrical Sector for Rest of Asia where he was responsible for spearheading growth of the company’s range of power distribution, power quality and automation solutions across the region.
In an earlier role as Director of Integration at Eaton, Nanda led the overall integration of the Phoenixtec acquisition in Taiwan and mainland China. Prior to this, Nanda was Director of Supply Chain Management at Eaton’s Electrical Sector headquarters where he managed the global logistics and materials management functions for the company’s electrical sector.
Nanda holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with a focus on finance, strategy and marketing, and a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla.
