October is National Safe Work Month
Safe Work Australia (SWA) is inviting Australian businesses to submit entries to the Workplace Participation Reward, highlighting initiatives undertaken in their workplace to improve safety. The organisation said the entry that displays the most outstanding spirit, participation, creativity and sustainability will receive a prize pack valued at up to $5000, plus the opportunity to share its safety story nationally.
SWA suggests looking through case studies from previous participants here and subscribe to the National Safe Work Month news service to receive regular updates, which can be done by using this link. A resource kit will be available shortly and the website provides further information.
