Partnership a “big win” for electrical contractors
Electrical contractors are set to benefit from a new partnership formed between a peak industry group and a national wholesaler. Master Electricians Australia and Lawrence and Hanson (L&H) recently announced the partnership, which builds on an existing 30-year partnership.
The benefits for Master Electricians Australia members include membership to the L&H Access program, which provides discounts at L&H branches, and access to the Use a Sparky website.
As part of the agreement, L&H will be the exclusive sponsor of the SafetyConnect program - a safety management program helping industry to take control of their safety requirements.
According to Malcolm Richards, Master Electricians Australia CEO, the agreement is a big win for electrical contractors across the country.
“Since the formation of our organisation in 1937, we have connected electrical contractors to valuable opportunities and helped to grow their businesses,” Richards said.
“The L&H partnership will enable us to further support our growing industry and provide business owners with even more tools to make their business successful.”
L&H will also have specific involvement in national roadshows, Skills Connect courses, conferences and related branded communication activity.
“We have various touch points between L&H staff and MEA members planned throughout the year, which will provide us the opportunity to add value to MEA members and listen to their feedback,” said Robin Norris, L&H Chief Executive.
