Schneider Electric IT appoints State managers for ACT and WA
Schneider Electric IT has announced the regional appointments of Olaf Moon as State Manager, ACT and Federal Government and Graeme Ridler as State Manager, WA.
The company says the appointments are a reflection of the boom in the data centre, mining, oil and gas markets in Australia.
“The next couple of years promise to be filled with growth opportunities, as demand for data centre capacity rises and cloud computing services become increasingly popular with businesses throughout Australia,” said Paul Tyrer, Vice President, Pacific. “Olaf and Graeme will be an instrumental addition to the Schneider Electric team as they bring a great deal of experience in both Telco and cloud services.”
Ridler comes to the position with over 20 years of experience in sales with both vendors and channel partners. The State Manager appointment will see him addressing the local market demand for more energy-efficient data centres.
“Graeme’s role as State Manager, WA will be vital in ensuring that the state’s mining industry continues to extract resources efficiently, with a focus on power quality through critical power infrastructure,” said Tyrer.
Moon’s background is in the IT and Telco industries, with leadership responsibilities for managed hosting and cloud services, as well as government hosting and security services.
