Warren & Brown acquires NZ communications business
Warren & Brown Technologies has acquired Auckland-based company AC Technologies to expand its connectivity infrastructure offering for the New Zealand telecommunications market.
Under a new company name and ownership, AC-WB Technologies will expand its solution offering, as well as continue to provide a high level of technical support and customer service.
WBT Managing Director Neil Domelow said, “It has been a goal of ours to establish Warren & Brown Technologies in New Zealand for some time, and the opportunity to acquire such a well-respected and successful existing local business is a perfect fit for WBT.
“Furthermore, with WBT’s extensive capabilities in product development, 3D printing, advanced manufacturing and technical solution design, AC-WB Technologies will be able to provide the New Zealand telecommunications market with new innovative solutions and excellent customer service.”
The owner and managing director of AC Technologies, Brian Barnett, said, “I feel comfortable leaving the business I have built over many years in the capable hands of the WBT team. I believe the obvious synergies between the two businesses and the very similar corporate cultures can only add to the current AC Technologies offering.”
