Victoria will introduce a new transitional feed-in tariff (TFIT) for properties installing rooftop solar panels to replace the current premium feed-in tariff (PFIT). The new TFIT, which will be available from 1 January 2012, will offer customers 25 cents per kilowatt hour for electricity that is fed back into the grid from their rooftop solar systems.
